-1 return code while connecting from Linux to VShell Windows(2.3.7)

Hi, Can anyone help me regarding this. We have a requirement to connect from a linux OS based system to a windows system which has VShell configured. While connecting we do not encounter any problems, but while terminating the connection we encounter the return code of -1.

debug1: Bytes per second: stdin 0.0, stdout 0.0, stderr 0.0
debug1: Exit status -1

Can anyone suggest why this might be happening.

Thanks in anticipation

Hello mksathish.

Does the exit status of "-1" happen with all clients?

Would you be able to try connecting to VShell from a Windows based client or a client from a different client and/or operating system?

Would you be able to provide a log from VShell with debug messages enabled as well as a verbose debug log from the client?

You can send those to support@vandyke.com.

Thank you

JJH
