Hello,
I use a adminserver with SecureCRT 5
By a VS scripts I have the ability to automate certain activities regularly.
So far I'm stuck at the security problem:
In the VBS file has the login details to that particular server / routers store in plain text.
How can I encrypt the login information, so part of this actual script still works on SecureCRT?

You can use the Microsoft Script Encoder to encode scripts, but this is different than encripting scripts. Also, Microsoft does not support the script encoder on Windows Vista or newer. This topic has been discussed in a few different places on our forums:

Currently SecureCRT does not provide a mechanism for encrypting scripts. Current versions provide a way of using a session's saved password, and the password is encrypted in the session's .ini file. However, I'm not sure this applies to your situation with AdminServer. AdminServer appears to be an Oracle database for insurance, rather than a an SSH server.

Do you logon to an SSH server first, then type commands to get to AdminServer, and you're looking for a way to automate the commands, and hide the AdminServer username and password that are in the script?
