How to check connection COM port
How do I use SecureCRT to check if I have connection to a modem connected to my serial interface (COM1)?
I tried starting SecureCRT connecting to COM1 but I just get a white screen and cannot input any AT-commands. I connect at 9600 baud which is according to this modem, an SMS Modem type fasttrack xtend |

What version of SecureCRT are you using (Help / About SecureCRT...)?
Since you do not mention using a USB->Serial adapter, I assume you have a Windows operating system. Which operating system is installed? What flow control does the device require? By default, new serial connections have hardware flow control (RTS/CTS) enabled. What flow control does your device require? If none, and you disable all Flow Control options in the Connection / Serial category of Session Options, what are the results?
