Hello Jakob,

Quote:
Using SYST:SNUM i get the serialnumber of the device back and now can use the WaitForString command since it's always the same number.
But still i have to send two commands, limiting me to get a value each 0,1sec. Cutting this in half would be even better though, any idea how i can do this in another way?
There may be.

So that we may ascertain exactly what the remote sends, I would like to get a raw log of the session. Please collect the data from start to finish with you entering the command manually several times. Instructions on how to configure SecureCRT to capture a raw log is below:

To create a raw log:
  1. Before connecting with the session, select "Raw Log Session" from SecureCRT's "File" menu.
  2. In the "Select Log File" dialog, choose a folder and filename in which you would like the log text to be stored and press the "Save" button. At this point, if you open the "File" menu, you will notice that the "Raw Log Session" menu item now has a check-mark next to it; this indicates that raw logging is activated.
  3. Now connect to the remote machine and perform the actions (send command several times)
  4. Following receipt of the output, disconnect the session and select "Raw Log Session" from the "File" menu to turn off the raw logging feature.
  5. Browse to the location of the raw log file and add the file as an attachment to an e-mail message. Please send to support@vandyke.com and include "Attn Brenda - Forum Thread #5846" in the subject line.
