Event Viewer Messages

Gentlemen:

We are running sfxcl and SecureFX on a server to facilitate transfers from our various clients/customers. We are currently attempting to resilve FTP difficulties with one of our clients and noticed that the event viewer has captured a prodigious number of error messages whenever Ssfxcl or SecureFX runs. The typical error messaes are below:

Component identity found in manifest does not match the identity of the component requested
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Syntax error in manifest or policy file "C:\Program Files\VanDyke Software\SecureFX\Microsoft.VC90.MFCLOC.MANIFEST" on line 4.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Generate Activation Context failed for C:\Program Files\VanDyke Software\SecureFX\mfc90u.dll. Reference error message: The manifest file contains one or more syntax errors.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

I believe this to be due to the fact that we have dot Net 1.0 on the server. I run SecureFX on my workstation and download files from this client's site without the attendant error messages. My workstation has dot Net 3.5 installed.

If you could provide some insight into these error messages, I would be very grateful.

Thanks for posting about the problem you're experiencing.

This problem was fixed in the 6.5 official release and should not occur with current versions of SecureFX installed.

Which SecureFX version and build are you running (Help / About SecureFX)?
