View Full Version : Activator not populating Recent Sessions list in CRT 5.0.1

I just upgraded from CRT 4.1 to CRT 5.0.1 and now the "Recent Sessions" list in the activator never gets populated. I first did an upgrade by installing 5.0.1 on top of the old version and let CRT migrate my old sessions. Next I uninstalled CRT and tried a fresh install with the same result. The only thing non-standard is that I did not use the default location for the configuration folder. The "Recent File List CRT.ini" file is getting updated and the recent file list does show on the "File" drop down menu. Any ideas?

How is the Activator getting started (e.g. through CRT, Startup, desktop shortcut, etc.)?

The activator starts up when I launch CRT from the Quick Launch bar or from the Start menu. I am runing Widows XP Professional with all service packs, updates, etc. I forgot to include the build number in my first post. It is Build 1008.

Thanks for the reply. I'm seeing the same behavior. I have logged this in our development database so that we can look into it. We'll let you know when a fix is available.

Had this one a while back with the BETA's a quick registry fix iirc.
BETA forum seems to have been removed so cant look up the fix I posted.

I think that was a different problem that was fixed a while back. Version 5.0.2 (scheduled for 8/11) should fix the most recent empty recently used sessions list problem.

Hey,
I had mentioned this before, but thought it might be fixed in SCRT 5.02. If the Activator starts from the Start-Up folder, the user is able to start a session via the "Recent Sessions" menu. If Activator is started by SCRT, the menu is changed to include both "Recent Terminal Sessions" and "Recent Transfer Sessions", which I prefer.
